Just two days before eve of Christmas, Mac sent a mass sms asking if we are interested in this little gathering/party with gift exchange. So naturally, me and pink just say yes!

On Christmas eve itself, I went to cecil st to continue my audit. My target was to finish everything on that day but it was impossible especially since LC keep adding the sample size...

After that I went to get the gifts for exchange then went home to sleep...
Woke up at around 7+ and was very tempted to msg mac and tell her i am not going, but of course i did not.

Met pinky and went to mac house together. We reached Lorong zouk instead of Lorong H (quoting Pink) cos the scene at mac house was exactly what you will see at zouk on mambo night. Everyone was forced to down a cup of vodka as door rules (or something like that). Ooh the small sip burned my throat and i managed to get edmund to finish it for me! *chuckles I think is edmund, not too sure.

We started our steamboat dinner with a huge table completely filled with food. I think we had more laughing than eating. After dinner, we started to exchange gifts. Jeremy got my silly present, I got edmund's snoopy calendar (its very cute, you must see it), then Edmund got Mac's little piece of soap, Pinky took raymond's glasses, junyi got pink's door stopper... the rest i dont know le... hehehe...

There was a lot of drinking. Before 12 am, Nelson was already drunk. His symptoms are walking around aimlessly and talking and laughing and finally, crying!!!
Edmund played this song (cant remember what song it is) and Rovin did a little dance where he sat on a chair with his back facing us and then turned around slowly with a very innocent, face filled with fake sex appeal look and then when the music starts to warm up, he started the vigorous shaking and dancing.

There were a lot of photo taking by our photographer. Pics of rape victims, pics of naked birthday boy, pic of 2 women in a guy's arm, pics of vomitting people etc. Mac, remind jeremy to send us the pics!!

Sometime around 2 am, mac's parents came back. While the sleepy people slept, we accompanied mac's parents as they ate. Mac's dad then opened a bottle of red wine. I took a sip from Jeremy's glass and it was real sour. While drinking, Nelson entertained us all the way. He was blabbering non-stop and his 'blabbers' which always ends with 'haha' are real funny! Even Mac's usually stern dad was laughing and teasing him all the way. He was so cute. Firstly, he kept sliding off the chair and geok fang has to pull him back every few minutes. Uncle Teo made him confuse with all the chinese tea and american tea. The rest of us laugh till our jaws ache. When he finally stopped at 5 am after almost 3 hours of talking non-stop. I wonder if he has a sore throat today.

Uncle Teo was powerful. First, he made Jeremy drink glasses after glasses of red wine. Finally he cannot tahan especially since he drank a lot before the second round. Then the next victim was pia tat who arrived late. He kept saying its going to be the last glass but uncle teo kept refilling his glass. The almost third victim was supposed to be keith (jenn's Bf) But i think luckily he came quite late.

At the end of the night, they were like dead ducks lying on the couch wrapped in thick blankets with plastic bags .

Nelson: "I know what i am doing but i cant control it"
Jeremy: "This is the first time i vomited" and "ta hai wo"

We had a little lunch pot luck party at 12 today. Everyone was supposed to buy something. Mon and me decided to buy drinks. Mr Lim volunteered to go with us cos the drinks are very heavy. Met Mr chua, Amos and Agus at Cold Storage. Idiot peoples they are. They say we have three people so they longbang one of their bags with us. Sick!

By right the lunch only includes Credit Risk Control Dept, Internal Audit Department and legal Dept. But in the end we invited Compliance and Credit Admin to join in. SOme of the marketing people came too.

The lunch officially starts after our General Manager, Lee Sze Siong who is the brother of our managing director gave the signal.
Mandy and i was trying to mingle in the crowd and stay unnoticed, but in the end L.S.S came and talk to us. Actually he is very nice, no airs at all. He chit chatted with us and ask whether Sing Investment is good exposure for us.

After lunch, we took a cab and went straight to LKN to finish the Block audit... SIANS

Today, Joshua finally came to visit!!!

The first thing he did when he arrived is to scold Liying for allegedly exposing herself in the office, actually its not that serious. After he spoke to mandy's manager, he spoke to Liying's then followed by mine!

That idiot of a manager said bad things about me which i feel is very untrue, but luckily Joshua defended me and told me not to worry cos my sup is trying to be strict!!!

HAHAHA imagine a lecturer saying bad things about a manager to a student!!!

Anyway everything, we managed to cajole Joshua to get us out of the office for tea break. Didnt think it would happen so when Joshua say ok go and inform your sup and meet me downstairs, i was surprised.

I was the last to arrive at the lobby. When i reached there, Mandy told me Joshua drives a toyota wish. Then we were persuading him to drive us somewhere. At first he only wants to go somewhere near. But there are no nice place nearby so we suggested parkway but he say too far! So we just ask him to drive us in his wish.

He is a very lousy driver!
Mandy and i was practically telling him which way to go and when. There was once mandy even reminded him to look right where a vehicle was moving toward us. Phew!

It was quite fun especially since we managed to waste half a day!

Looked through my blog just now and just realised its been exactly a month since motivation left... Its fate's doing.

Anyway had a happy birthday yesterday. At least nothing very very bad happened to me for the first time in 5 years.

Life right now is like investing in bonds, involves little or no risk and is managed by a portfolio manager. Do you agree?

I finally almost finish my audit car loan. Left a few more files...
Finally! 32 years old can buy a ferarri, 60 years old buy nissan still cannot pay up, 45 year old uncle buy bently etc etc...

I feel so accomplished!! But i wished my english was better. Damn! i am having lots of trouble writing the query slips....

And soon we must go to LKN again...... But at least the worst is over... i hope

Went to the doctor yesterday to try to 'geng' mc with just a little flu. Got an mc but was real sick today. I guess that is retribution bah...

SIP is ending soon and i am not looking forward to school reopening.

I just read pinky's blog and i am so overwhelmed with emotions.
Words cant describe my feelings.

Pinky: There are a lot more things i did not add in my blog. Things such as the big plate of dishes, the never depleting thai desserts, the five bowls of rice, the melty chocolates bought at the mama store near telok kurau etc.. But what is most important is we never forget the fun and laughter we've had. And you are right, we could never go back to that time ever again.
But nothing lasts forever.

Lets all look ahead and grow up together. May we still be in contact when we are so old we have to use walking sticks, discussing bout our grandchildren. And we shall be hip hip ah mas!!!!

I had a little chat with pinky. We were talking about pizzas and the drumlets, and suddenly we were reminded of the big stunt we did at mac's house while doing projects. If i remember correctly, there were at least 6 longg rows of drumlets packed in the biggest sized pizza box. When the pizza arrived, we were still wondering where were the drumlets and how come there were 3 pizza. One thing i regret is not taking a picture of the pizzas and drumlets. There will be no more chance.

Every night, the five of us will have dinner together, we will laugh at lao pa's lameness, laugh at his 'talk to my hand'. We will give irwin dining lessons. Around ten plus when mac's dad comes home, we will take a rest and troop downstairs to accompany him for his dinner.
After which, we will drag our feet to mac's room at #02-01. We would dread the long night when sitting in front of stations 1, 2 and 3 cursing the baskets, mumching on tidbits, drinking water specially prepared by dimple and lisa. Occasionally, presley will come disturb us and will get a scolding from mac.

While we worked through the night, us 3 girls will sometimes stare at the sleeping baskets with envy. We remembered their weird sleeping patterns, how irwin will suddenly sit up in the night etc.

Mac's maid usually will dread having us stayover at her house cos they will have to do more work after we left. Haha we completely messed up their lifes when we did our projects. Their time table was jumbled up. Wednesdays and Saturdays were supposed to spent changing bed sheets but that wasnt the case when we were there becos it was simply too troublesome to change it especially since it will get messed up after we enter her room. Not forgetting the suddenly high utilities bill resulted from the frequent usage of the toilet on second floor!

We see each other's pattern through and through. Pinky's horrible typing skills, Mac's ultimately, my horrible laughter etc. Despite that we really learnt a lot from one another. I was given a lesson which i will never forget in my whole life by macvis when i was so sarcastic towards gary lin. She lectured me and taught me to be diplomatic. After working together, we were experts on control a, control c, control v.

Sometimes, we have our arguments. Sometimes we will be angry with everything. Sometimes we are the three most bad tempered girls. Sometimes we are the three happiest girls.
Sometimes we will shout at each other, mainly me and mac, especially during the crucial times. But we know that we have no hard feelings for each other. Sometimes i remember saying some nasty stuffs to pinky. I want to apologise to both of them and i am very grateful that they took all my nonsense without getting angry with me.
After that we will laugh and everything is same as before.

Even though that period of time was the toughest we have ever been through, it was that period of time where we were the closest, where we had the most laughs, when we learnt, matured and aged the most, where we had most arguments, most baskets, most high, most stunts.

We grew up.

The reason i am updating this is becos i dont want to forget the memorable times spent at mac house doing projects. I hope the three baskets who went through this tough time with me will not forget it as well. This memory is very precious. If one day either of us forgets, i will be very upset. I want things to remain the same as before, but i know it is impossible. As we grow old, we have our own lifes to lead. But nevertheless i hope we will keep in touch no matter how busy life is. Dont give up cos fate allows us this precious and special friendship not everyone has the privilege of having.

Yesterday we went back to school for on-campus training. The school looked very familliar yet unfamilliar. Everyone changed.. Longer hair, brighter faces etc.. Its a nostalgic feeling. Suddenly realised that i'm not getting any younger. Even mac is starting to plan for the future. But what has the future in store for us? I dont know.

By the way, anyone of u can guess what is a Frinter?
