Hanoi Pictures!
First the Impressive 5-star hotel: Hanoi Daewoo Hotel.

Mr Freeman briefing us on the map of Hanoi... (Doesnt he look like a tour guide)

We called for room service amost every night and I think the whole hotel probably cringe with fear whenever they see our room number (911). And we also completely amused the lobby staff that they labelled us as VIP. (Hee Hee) And they so liked us that they asked when we were going back to Hanoi on our last day. Hee not that I wanna go back again lah but 5-star treatment is really shiok.
Hoan Kiem Lake
where we got lost the first time and walked in circles...

Trying to outskip the motorbikes

This woman very seh... Eating corn on the bike and she stayed in this uncomfortable position for super long sia...

The dark and eerie Hoa Lo Prison
(I think is not so clean cos I felt damn uncomfortable there or could be I think tooo much...)

There is a little bucket at the bottom of the guillotine which I assume is used to catch the head?
In the prison they show the pictures of the prisoners and the things used to torture them. I vividly remember a glass bottle among the few items...

Water Puppetry Show

HAlong Bay

They want us to vote for Halong Bay to be one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. Siao one.
Wah so happy to be in the cave of one of the soon-to-be-7-wonders-of-the-world... Btw can vote one leh... Think if we all vote for Halong Bay and ask everyone not to vote for great wall, it can squeeze itself into the top 7.

Peter, our Halong Bay tour guide. Actually his name is Ha something lah but he looks like Peter so we are calling him Peter. This Peter... he very patient but at the end of the tour, he abandoned us in the van with a driver who doesnt speak english after our fellow ang moh tourists insist he send them back to their hotel at the end of the day. Because the ang mohs were so insistent and he couldnt speak as well as them, he slammed the door of the van and walked off. And we have to keep directing the driver (who cant speak english) back to our hotel ourselves!!

Selling pearls on the boat ride...
Staring disgustedly at the toilet or at the smelly man patting Peter's stomach. That smelly man, is so irritating. He keeps talking at the top of his voice during the 4-hour bumpy van ride and he was absolutely disturbing his fellow travellers. And he has to sit next to us. I swear I got a headache from all the talking. He kept talking (non-stop) to the driver and tour guide but no one answered him and he still wouldnt stop!!! We so feel like kicking him out of the van.
Little pretty Vietnamese girl eating Bo Luo

Eating Pho (pronounced as fur) and drinking drip coffee at one of the shopping centre
Eating Dim Sum at Fortuna Hotel which is a Singapore hotel and it is completely filled with Singaporeans and it feels just like eating dim sum in Crystal Jade. And we totally charmed the Vietnamese waiters when we keep asking for Bo Luo and Green Bean soup and Buloh Hitam (I think).

The Roadside stalls. Conditions are quite bad...

I wanna go on another holiday!!! Preferable staying in a 5-star hotel!!

Went for an Interview today and I realised that the private bankers at my previous company are one of a kind and super pampered. And that there are private bankers who resemble human beings out there (resemble human beings as in 比较象人).

And I also realised how much we were being abused there. And how much we expect to be abused that when occasionally there is a nicer RM, we will be sceptical and suspicious.

I think I can say I am in the midst of redefining my career. (Wah seh!)

Left CS but not before being suanned by a stupid RM who didnt know that accountholders (individuals) are beneficial owners. He and his idiotic ARM sent me a damn bloody sarcastic email when its not even my fault. The episode lead to a sudden surge in blood pressure causing immense headache which leads to a fever on my last day!!!! and before I left for Hanoi.

Hee Hee anyway I am done with all the private bankers and what a relief (or relieve?).

More updates on Hanoi and our 5-star hotel and harry hop when I have the mood!
