Merry Christmas!!! My Christmas this year is not as interesting as last years'. It was a quiet christmas this year. I am just glad that things are getting better for me, for my family. My christmas wish this year is that there will be no decrease in number of people in my family for many, many years to come. Hopefully things will go more smoothly for everyone in the coming year.

Another of my christmas wish this year was partially granted by my boss in Hong Kong. Notice i say partially granted.

I also vowed to myself that this will be the poorest christmas i will ever go through again!!

La la lala la la lala lala lalala la la la laaa...
La la la Christmas is coming!!!!

Sometimes you may think you are the most unlucky one but there will always be people who are worst than you... Could be the festive mood, i suddenly feel so so optimistic. Stayed till 8 in the office yesterday, together with my colleague, battling with a bitch from another department. Woah!! She bootlicked me sia... and my colleagues and i were so amused and irritated. But my anger diminished as rapidly as it came because of the festive mood!!! Yea!!!!!

Hi people, I am back!!!!
A brief summary of significant events in the lapse of entries. Ended my semester 1 with tough papers. There are ups and downs in work but overall not too bad. Did a lot of socialising after work especially the period when the big big bosses fly to Singapore from all over the world for seminars and workshops and training. As the host, the whole department has to go for department lunch and department dinners after work.

The most memorable was the department dinner at Conrad Hotel, Oscars on the 23rd November. Our guests for that week was the overall head of Legal and Compliance and some other very high rank person (so high that i dont even know what is the rank). So of course the dinner has to be very presentable hence the place.

The department secretary took our orders in the morning so that the Conrad kitchen could be prepared. The hotel even prepared name cards for everyone in front of the table so that the dishes could be served to the right persons without interupting the guests' and conversation. The dinner was at 7pm so we all left in batches after work. Compliance department was sabotaged. The secretary of Legal was the first to reach to oversee everything, and she happily arranged all our names around the big bosses while she and her khakis sit far away. Luckily a few of my colleagues reached there fairly early and discovered the plot!! And they did some switches and messed up the waiters' table plan. Hahaha... We sitted ourselves in a far corner away from the boss so that we do not have to entertain them.

While we were waiting for everyone to reach, we were so worried that our singapore boss will separate us so we decided to 'mess up' our plates a bit by each placing a piece of bread on our plate to reserve!!!! Just imagine a few gentleman and ladies mostly in their 30s doing such silly stuffs... When the waiters came to take our orders for drinks, we ask them to make it fast so that we can 'reserve' our seats and the waiter looked at us weirdly....

There were a few jokes of the night. One was the joke about the room. We had softdrinks while the big bosses ordered wine and beer. My colleague was commenting on the difference drink so another one replied saying that when he sits in a room, he can order wine.... Because only head of departments have a room to themselves. It was a dreaded dinner at first but thanks to my colleagues, we actually had fun....
