Had 4 days MC last week. And the below is the conversation that took place when colleague told boss what happened.
Boss: What happened to Lynn?
Colleague: She had an athsma attack
Boss: Huh... I thought athsma only attack the elderlys....
Colleague: HUH? Nooo.....
When she told me the above, I laughed till my intestines tangled sia... Then when boss called today and ask me what happened again i told him athsma and he was silent for a few seconds as if thinking if i am bluffing him. Before i could stop myself, I went yah athsma happens to people like me not only elderlys, osteoporosis happens to elderlys.....
And my colleague overheard the conversation and was behind laughing and pushing me....
Boss also quite funny... Where to find another this kind of boss....
Then local manager even more funny. He asked my colleague if there is anything they can do for me...? Huh like what? Help collect bai jin or order wreath? Weird right.... Doctor only issued MC not death certificate... Like machiam cant wait for me to die :p

I BLOODY HELL FAILED AGAIN.... Life feels like it has ended.... Especially now where it is the most crucial time of my life....
really dont know what to do...
Although i will not give up try i mean....
All time very depressed... Although Jennifer say people who say they are depressed are not depressed. I am depressed............
I dont want to report to Albert...... Am considering quitting without a job and becoming a hermit.

Bluebird brand tomato juice. Try saying Bluebird in hokkien. This 'Bluebird' was left behind by Boss on one of his visits to Singapore. We had a damn good laugh over this... Maybe my boss is hinting us...... or scolding us..........

Last week was the slackiest and most disastrous week in my short working life. Restructuring. Its like a very sigh-ing word. (I mean it brings a lot of sighs to the people affected).
We were very worried about statistics and amount of workload and what would boss think at the beginning of the week.
When we got the news of restructuring, I realised that what we were worried about in the beginning was so insignificant compared to what is going to happen to us. This is always the case in life. Sometimes the things you hold so dear will not be important when you die but you often doesnt realise it until you die... or at least when you are about to die.
Unhappy things aside, thanks to our dear colleagues who brings laughter to the office during the long, depressing hours, or it will be worst.
We managed to find a way to type emails in chinese without installing the software and had damn lots of fun typing emails in chinese. I think my chinese has improved by leaps and bounds from typing and reading all these boh liao emails.
Cyn is called nicknamed "樱樱".
While I am "清清".
Together we are 樱樱清清(eng eng cheng cheng)
K names himself "忙忙" (busy)
while Wend is "闲闲"
Sleepy intern is "蜫蜫" (kun as in sleeping) and secretary is "丑丑"
And last but not least, "樱樱美代子" is the chinese way of saying eng eng bo tai zi (free free nothing to do).
This is how we get by everyday. Without this people I will be bored to death!!!
