I had a strange encounter yesterday... Maybe is a nightmare (I hope!!)

Went for another intensive lesson today, and one sunday is gone just like that. Its only the third week, but pinky and i were already like zombies. Every wednesday, there will still be some craps from us. By the time we reach friday, we will walk to class in silence with our heads down and head for the coffee table. During breaks, we will ask each other in a voice barely a whisper if we wanna go washroom. At the end of the lesson, we will just wave goodbye and hurry home to our precious bed. Life is not tough, and we are not tired. I just cant imagine what i will do when exams come and when we start our finance subs. I am starting to chicken out...

Last sunday, we went for our first intensive lesson. 6 hours!!! by Dr Ian Phau from Australia's curtin school who is a singaporean. The lesson was very interesting and I really enjoyed listening to his stories. He looked quite young but he travels a lot. I really see the difference between local lecturers and Aus lecturers. At the end of the lesson, I feel very motivated by him. I want to travel a lot and start talking to intelligent people (cos u can really learn a lot).

After the intensive lesson, I believed i developed a more entrepreneur mind. Hehehehe maybe is cos no money to use!!!! I am so looking forward to another intensive lesson by Dr Ian.

As I mentioned, david was in our class and me and pinky was actually targeting him to be our proj members. Another one was the pilot!!! He also like quite intelligent.

Yesterday, we had our econs lesson and i am starting to get used to the My Everything-Repeat-Thrice lecturer. By the way, yesterday he only repeat twice most of the time. Pinky and i saw a C guy bringing out the very disturbing looking financial calculator and almost confirmed our future finance class will be filled with C people like in our econs classs...

We are now 3 steps closer to getting our degree. But my econs lecturer sucks a lot. And I hate C... people!!!!! For your information, the 'C...' is also another word for plates and cups etc. More than 80% of the students in my econs class are C people!! And this C girl was so rude and spoilt that she snatched the signature paper from me!!! No manners. Further observations tells me that they are also very selfish.

And David was in all 3 of our classes!!! Hahahahahaha

Back to my lecturer, I am going to call him Mr Everything-Repeat-Thrice lecturer. He wasted a lot of our time!!! The reason i call him that is because for every sentence, he will repeat at least three times!!!! (I am not exaggerating and I swear he repeated everything three times.)

Mr Everything-Repeat-Thrice lecturer: "Now turn to page seven... Turn to page seven ah yah, page seven page seven."

Everyone: turned to page seven and stared at him.

Mr Everything-Repeat-Thrice lecturer: "... same level of satisfaction, same satisfaction, have the same level of satisfaction" !!!!!

The lesson lasted for 3 hours, my theory is if he simply just say one sentence once instead of repeating three times, he can finish the lesson in one hour. And he will take all the trouble to copy all the things that are in our notes and not in the powerpoint slides on the board, and while he spents approx 2 mins everytime he copies something, there will be a very silent 2 mins while everyone waits patiently for him to finish.

At 2158:
Mr Everything-Repeat-Thrice lecturer was saying change the figures to blah blah blah.

At 2200:
The aircon system was shut down and Mr Everything-Repeat-Thrice lecturer did not notice and continued talking and repeating, talking and repeating and talking and repeating.

At 2201:
Mr Everything-Repeat-Thrice lecturer: "Sorry i didnt notice its ten oclock. Next week i will explain to you ah next week. Next week i will explain yah next week. Next week we will... next week blah blah blah... next week blah blah blah... next week (at least 3 more times)."

He then proceeded to talk bout next week while half of the class were gathering their stuffs and preparing to jump out of their seats the moment he was done with next week. And he next week until almost about 2210.

At the end of the lesson, i learnt that he uses the letters A, B and D to name the indifference curves cos C is for clothing and F is for food.

Quoting pinky, it was our first step to getting a degree... First lesson, Consumer Behaviour.

We were a bit kallang kabo cos we spent quite a bit of time looking at the tele screen searching for our class venue. Then we were given a big folder of notes which is going to last us for the whole semester.

The lecturer is not too bad and i also learnt that he was one of the people who signed the NKF petition. Our first lesson and pinky had begun observing and 'classifying' the people into groups that we should and shouldnt form with.
